Alberto Tassoni

Hi, I work mainly in metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of language. In particular, I’m interested in grounding, causation, explanation, laws, time, mereology, and anything involving Nutella.

Prior to joining Berkeley, I did a BA in philosophy at University College London, graduating in 2015. My undergraduate thesis was an attempt to provide a contextualist response to causal exclusion arguments in philosophy.

I am originally from Italy, and grew up in a small seaside town half way down the Adriatic coast, opposite Rome.
