(B.A., University of Pennsylvania, 1996) David’s interests range widely over the history of modern philosophy, especially early modern epistemology, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of science. He is also interested in philosophical accounts, within the analytic tradition, of such concepts as objectivity, normativity, and judgment. He is currently working his way into a dissertation on Kant’s conception of “reflective judgment,” under the supervision of Hannah Ginsborg and Daniel Warren. He hopes to one day work his way back out of it.
