(B.A., UC Berkeley, 2013). My primary research explores the way that ethical considerations inform our second-order decisions as epistemic agents: not our decisions about what to believe, but our decisions about how to decide what to believe. In particular, I am currently thinking about how we should decide which possibilities to take seriously; ways of reframing and refreshing the modern debate over evidentialism; and self-gaslighting as epistemically coerced behavior. My paper on this last topic is forthcoming in Ethics.
