Aloisia Moser earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research, New York and an MA in Linguistics from the University of Vienna, Austria. In her dissertation she elaborates a crucial parallel between Kant’s transcendental apperception in the First Critique and Wittgenstein’s rendering of the general form and unity of the proposition in the Tractatus. She is currently working on the publication of a theory of “Think Acts”, modeled after Austin and Searle’s speech acts.
