What is Fuzzy Logic, and What are its Applications?

In this presentation aimed at undergraduates in philosophy, Professor Zadeh, the inventor of fuzzy logic, will discuss how “a precise system of reasoning, deduction and computation” can be designed to deal with imperfect information – “information which in one or more respects is imprecise, uncertain, vague, incomplete, partially true or partially possible.” Everyone is welcome.
