(B.A., summa cum laude, Amherst College, 2002) George’s interests are mainly in ethics, political philosophy, and moral psychology. Other interests include the philosophy of mind, philosophy of law, 19th/20th-century “continental” philosophy (esp. Nietzsche), Chinese philosophy, and experimental philosophy. His dissertation takes up issues pertaining to the contingency of ethical thought and practice.
