Call for papers

The Idealist is an undergraduate philosophy journal published by students in the department. The Call for Papers for the Spring 2021 issue is open until December 1st, 2020. Undergraduate papers on any philosophical topic are welcome. Submissions should be made via our form (https://forms.gle/Jh5UpqAkz19Ygdnw6). See here for the Call for Papers flyer

Paper Length

Your paper should be double spaced with regular font and no more than 5000 words.

Submission

Papers on any philosophical topic are welcome. References should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, seventeenth edition. Footnotes are preferred over endnotes. Do not include any identifying information in the paper.

Abstract

An abstract of no more than 200 words is required.

Authorship

Submissions are limited to undergraduate authors (students currently in a program). Papers must be written in English. Only one submission per author. Please inform us if you are submitting the paper to other journals. No previously published papers will be accepted.
