The Idealist Journal
Call for papers
UC Berkeley is reviving its undergraduate philosophy journal, now re-christened as The Idealist Journal. Its purpose is to foster rigorous philosophical discourse while providing an accessible platform for undergraduates to participate in academic publication and debate. We are currently accepting submissions for our Spring 2019 issue. Any paper on a philosophical topic is welcome. Please send your papers to email@example.com by March 22, 2019.
Your paper should be double spaced with regular font, no less than 5 pages, and no more than 20 pages.
Submissions should be sent as attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org. Do not include any identifying information in the paper itself. Instead, please include a separate attachment in your email with identifying information (name, school, contact information).
No abstract is required.
Submissions are limited to undergraduate authors (whether at Berkeley or elsewhere). Papers must be written in English. Only one submission per author. Please inform us if you are submitting the paper to other journals. No previously published papers will be accepted.
Any further questions can be emailed to email@example.com.
The Idealist Journal is a rebranding of the journal formerly known as Harvest Moon. Selected back issues of Harvest Moon may be found here:
