Philosophy 290-3

This course will focus on two topics at the intersection of interpersonal ethics and political philosophy: coercion and exploitation. We will be discussing contemporary philosophical accounts of the nature and morality of coercion (by Berman, Pallikkathayil, Raz, Scanlon, White, and others), and of the nature and morality of exploitation (by Cohen, Vrousalis, Wood, and others).
