Justin Tiwald (Ph.D., University of Chicago) He is also an assistant professor of philosophy at San Francisco State University. He publishes widely on topics at the intersections of ethics, political philosophy, and Chinese philosophy. Recent and forthcoming works include “Dai Zhen on Sympathetic Concern” (Journal of Chinese Philosophy), “A Right of Rebellion in the Mengzi?” (Dao), and “Confucianism and Human Rights” (in the Routledge Handbook of Human Rights).
