Tanner Lectures on Human Values Samuel Scheffler (NYU) Lecture I: How People Who Don’t Yet Exist Matter More to Us than People Who Do |
The University of California, Berkeley will host the prestigious Tanner Lectures on Human Values, a three-day event to be held from March 13 to March 15, 2012. This year’s lecture series, entitled “The Afterlife,” will be given by Samuel Scheffler. Commentary will be provided by Harry Frankfurt, Seana Shiffrin, and Susan Wolf.
The lectures and the seminar are free and open to the public.
