Anthony Lawson (University of Cambridge)
What is Wrong with Modern Economics?

Anthony Lawson is at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge, UK. He is organizer of the Cambridge Social Ontology Group and the Cambridge Realist Workshop, and until recently, he was Executive Director of the Cambridge Centre for Gender Studies. His numerous publications include the books Economics and Reality, and Reorienting Economics, both with Routledge. His views, philosophical in orientation, are much debated in the international academic committee, as is evidenced by Edward Fullbrook’s forthcoming book Tony Lawson and his Critics.

Dr. Lawson is a Townsend Resident Fellow funded by the Avenali Endowment. He will be hosted by the Philosophy department while at Berkeley.
