(Ph.D., Harvard University). Her philosophical interests are mainly in general philosophy of science, epistemology, probability, and logic. She has recently published Tracking Truth: Knowledge, Evidence, and Science (2006), which develops a tracking theory of knowledge, a likelihood-ratio-based view of evidence integrated with it, and a novel approach to scientific realism. She is now working on the evolution of knowledge and logic, the function of reasoning, and a tracking-based account of justified belief.
