The passing of his ferret has left Stan sorely aware that he is behind. But he’s still rather convinced that reason-giving-and-taking and disagreement in matters of taste (as well as any controversial matters that are prone, when discussed, to result in appeals to question-begging paradigm examples, analogies, metaphors, etc.) are quite a bit more substantive than most people seem to think, and he hopes to make something of this conviction. Now that he’s tried Ad Hoc, he’s slightly (but only slightly) less interested in the French Laundry, though he’s highly interested in the French Laundry becoming a street food cart.
